White tigers leave for Thailand as envoys of friendship

GUANGZHOU, Feb. 2(Xinhuanet)-- Two white tigers left here Thursday for Thailand as envoys of friendship from Chinese people.

The tigers, Lizhen, female, and Zhaojin, male, both two years old, come from the Xiangjiang Safari Park in Guangzhou, capital of south China's Guangdong Province.

They are going to settle down in a zoo in Chiengnai, the second largest city of Thailand.

The white tiger is a rare species, mainly raised in the United States, India, Britain and China. Enditem
