Senior CPC official meets Oxford vice president

BEIJING, April 4(Xinhua)-- China will strengthen cooperation with Oxford University in personnel training, a senior official of the Communist Party of China(CPC) said here Tuesday.

In 2005, the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Commerce, and the United Nations Development Program jointly held four seminars of Advanced Leadership Training Program in five universities, including Oxford.

He Guoqiang, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Organization Department, said the program has gained satisfactory result and he expressed his thanks to Oxford and the Britain side for their support to the program, in a meeting with Bill Macmillan, vice president of Oxford University on Tuesday.
