Premier Wen meets world economic forum chief

BEIJING, June 13 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met here Tuesday with founder and executive chairman of the World Economic Forum Klaus Schwab, discussing the cooperation between China and the Forum.

Schwab is here to attend the opening ceremony of the Forum's representative office in Beijing.

Created in 1971 and based in Geneva, Switzerland, the World Economic Forum describes itself as a global community of business, political, intellectual and other leaders of society committed to improving the state of the world. Enditem
