Three documents issued to curb corruption among leading officials

BEIJING, Aug. 6 (Xinhua) -- The General Office of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee has recently issued three documents concerning leading officials at county level and above, in a new effort to curb corruption.

The three documents are the Temporary Provisions on the Tenure of Leading Officials, the Regulations on the Transfer of Leading Officials, and the Temporary Provisions on the Avoidance of Leading Officials.

The Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee is responsible for giving explanations to the documents.

The General Office ordered local authorities and departments concerned to seriously implement the decrees, while bringing local realities into consideration. Enditem
