BEIJING, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing talked with an EU commissioner on China-Europe cooperation in a previously arranged telephone call on Tuesday.

During the call, Li and the EU commissioner for external relations and European neighborhood policy, Benita Ferrero-Waldner, exchanged views on the preparations for the 9th China-EU Summit and China-Europe cooperation.

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao will visit Finland, Britain, Germany and Tajikistan on Sept. 9-16, and will spend part of his trip attending the ninth China-EU Summit in the Finnish capital Helsinki. Enditem
