Two managers suspended legislatorship for "disciplinary problems" in Shanghai

SHANGHAI, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- The Standing Committee of Shanghai People's Congress on Thursday suspended two former senior managers' posts from the legislature.

Wang Chengming and Wu Minglie were suspended from their posts as deputies to the 12th Shanghai People's Congress for "serious disciplinary problems."

Wang is a former board chairman and Communist Party secretary of Shanghai Electric Group Co., Ltd, an electromechanical equipment corporation with the largest sales in the Chinese mechanical sector.

Wu is a former vice president of China Huawen Investment Holding Co., Ltd and a former president and Communist Party secretary of Shanghai New Huang Pu Group Co., Ltd.

The suspension bring the number of deputies to the Twelfth Shanghai People's Congress down to 867. Enditem
