XI'AN, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- Czech President Vaclav Klaus visited the world-renowned terra-cotta warriors in China's northwestern Shaanxi Province on Thursday.

After touring through the terra-cotta museum he wrote "an admirable miracle" on the message album of the museum.

The striking terra-cotta figures, crowned as the 8th wonder of the world, are from the "army" of life-sized warriors, horses and chariots found near the mausoleum of Qinshihuang, the first emperor of the Qin Dynasty (211BC-207BC).

Klaus also visited other ancient relics in Xi'an, China's ancient capital.

Czech president arrived here Wednesday for boosting economic ties with China. He will conclude his China tour and leave for Vietnam on Friday. Enditem
