BEIJING, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- Chinese media experts have used a computer program to analyse the language of the recent communique issued by the Communist Party of China (CPC) on "social harmony". The news information center of the Shanghai-based Wenhui-xinmin United Press Group compared the wording of the new CPC communique with previous announcements on the topic and found 60 new sentences and phrases had come into "vogue". The computer select phrases as "many contradictions and issues impair social harmony even though China is, in general, a harmonious society"; "promote social equity and justice"; "form a set of common aspirations, ideals and moral codes for the whole society"; "strengthen social affairs management and services" and "create harmonious social relations for the unity of all Chinese people". These phrases and others were frequently heard during the 16th CPC Central Committee's 6th plenary session that concluded on Wednesday. The session put the construction of a socialist harmonious society at a "more prominent position" on its agenda. Conducting linguistic analysis of Chinese political documents is a common practice for researchers as Wenhui-xinmin. The idea is "help the public understand new concepts, policies and governance thoughts of the CPC". Last year, Wenhui-xinmin analyzed the document of China's 11th five-year plan (2006-2010) and its computer selected 115 new phrases that reflect new policy trends. Enditem
