TOKYO, Oct. 16 (Xinhua) -- Representatives of the ruling parties of Japan and China gathered here on Monday for their second meeting under the China-Japan ruling parties exchange mechanism. The meeting was jointly organized by Japan's ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) and its coalition partner New Komeito party. This is the second political dialogue between the ruling parties of Japan and China after their first meeting in Beijing in February. During the meeting, Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of CPC Central Committee; LDP Secretary General Hidenao Nakagawa; Yoshihisa Inoue, the vice representative of New Komeito party delivered keynote speeches on improving and developing Sino-Japan relations. Besides, the delegates discussed measures concerning how to implement the important consensus reached between leaders of the two countries; to enhance exchanges between the two countries' ruling parties; to consolidate political basis for bilateral ties. They also discussed efforts to strengthen economic cooperation in energy and environmental protection and promote exchanges between the two countries' youths. Enditem
