BEIJING, March 15 (Xinhua) -- A delegation from China's National People's Congress (NPC) is to visit Japan from March 22 to 28 and attend the first meeting on the exchange mechanism between the two top legislative bodies.

The delegation is headed by Lu Yongxiang, vice chairman of the NPC standing committee.

China and Japan launched last October regular exchange mechanism between NPC and Japan's House of councilors when Japan's upper house president Chikage Ogi visited China.
