Chinese Education Exhibition to be held in Nepal

KATHMANDU, March 26 (Xinhua) -- The fifth Chinese Education Exhibition is scheduled to be held on March 30-31 at Birendra International Convention Center in the Nepali capital of Kathmandu, with the joint initiative of the Chinese Scholarship Council, the Embassy of People's Republic of China in Nepal and the Araniko Society.

According to a news release issued here on Monday, 21 Chinese universities will take part in the exhibition organized with an objective of giving information to Nepali students and guardians about Chinese universities and subjects taught there.

At a press meeting organized by the society here Monday, Chairman of the society Harish Chandra Shaha said that on-the-spot information will be provided in the exhibition about the admission processes in the Chinese Universities covering the subjects such as medical science, engineering, commerce, language and culture.

At present, the Chinese government has been providing scholarships to Nepali students in the above-mentioned subjects.
