Cuban FM arrives in China for official visit

BEIJING, April 15 (Xinhua) -- Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs Felipe Perez Roque arrived in the Chinese capital Sunday night, kicking off his four-day official China trip.

He is visiting China as guest of Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing. During his stay, Vice President Zeng Qinghong and State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan will meet with him, respectively.

Besides, Perez will also meet with Li Zhaoxing and officials of several other ministries, including the Ministry of Commerce. He is scheduled to conclude his China trip on Wednesday.

Before heading for Beijing, the Cuban foreign minister visited China's southern city Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, and attended the opening ceremony of the Cuban consulate general there.
