Senior CPC leader leaves for Latin America tour

BEIJING, April 17 (Xinhua) -- Wu Guanzheng, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, left here Tuesday to visit Cuba, Colombia and Chile.

Wu, who is also secretary of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, will pay the visit at the invitation of the Communist Party of Cuba and the governments of Colombia and Chile.
