Sacked senior local party official expelled from CPC

BEIJING, April 26 (Xinhua) -- Du Shicheng, former deputy secretary of Shandong Provincial Committee of the Communist Partyof China (CPC), has been expelled from the Party for taking huge bribes and leading a dissolute life.

Du was sacked for "serious discipline violation" last December.

With approval by the CPC Central Committee, the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection has investigated Du's case since last December.
