Wang Zhengwei appointed acting governor of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region

YINCHUAN, May 12 (Xinhua) -- Wang Zhengwei was appointed on Saturday the acting governor of northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.

The decision was made at the 28th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Ninth People's Congress of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.

The committee also accepted the resignation of Ma Qizhi as the governor of the autonomous region.
