Chinese, Spanish foreign ministers meet on bilateral ties

BEIJING, June 26 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi and Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Miguel Angel Moratinos agreed on Tuesday to strengthen dialogues and further push forward bilateral cooperation.

In their official talks at the Great Hall of the People, the two spoke positively of China-Spain comprehensive strategic partnership as well as bilateral cooperation in various areas.

They also pledged to promote enhanced cooperation in international and regional affairs.

Moratinos is accompanying Spanish King Juan Carlos I on a six-day China trip.
