China, Japan conduct 9th round of talks on East China Sea issues

TOKYO, June 26 (Xinhua) -- China and Japan conducted the ninth round of talks on the East China Sea issues here on Tuesday.

Chinese Foreign Ministry's Director of Asian Affairs Department Hu Zhengyue attended the talks as top Chinese negotiator, and Kenichiro Sasae, head of the Japanese Foreign Ministry's Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau, led the Japanese delegation at the talks.

The two sides made in-depth discussions and exchanged views on the joint development of the gas and oil resources in East China Sea.
