AMMAN, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese embassy in Jordan hosted a reception here to celebrate the 58th founding anniversary of the People's Republic of China.

Attending the reception were more than 300 guests from the Jordanian government, business and social organizations as well as overseas Chinese and Chinese working in Jordan.

While greeting the Chinese people on their national day, Jordanian guests praised the close relations between the Jordan and China, stressing that the two sides would further promote friendly relations and economic ties.
