TASHKENT, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) -- A photo exhibition following the theme of "China Today" opened in the Uzbek capital of Tashkent Tuesday, showing the style and features of contemporary China with more than 400 exquisite pictures.

The opening ceremony was attended by Chinese Ambassador to Uzbekistan Yu Hongjun, Uzbekistan government officials and people from various circles.

The exhibition, scheduled to last five days, is co-hosted by the China Society For Human Rights Studies, the Chinese Embassy in Uzbekistan and a Uzbek cultural and artistic forum fund.
