BEIJING, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- Nicolas Maduro Moros, minister of foreign affairs of Venezuela, called for further enhancement of bilateral relations here on Thursday.

Maduro said at a press briefing that China and Venezuela enjoyed a smooth development of bilateral relations with frequent exchanges of visits. During his visit, the two sides reviewed the cooperation conducted in various fields and discussed future cooperation plans.

He hopes the two countries can maintain high-level contacts and exchange of visits in the future, and expand cooperation in all fields, Maduro said.

The minister also reaffirmed Venezuela's adherence to the one-China policy, saying the country will support China's reunification and territorial integrity in any international occasions and organizations.

Maduro is paying a three-day official visit to China from Tuesday to Thursday at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi.
