Chinese premier concludes Singapore tour

BEIJING, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao arrived here on Wednesday night, concluding an official visit to Singaporeand a series of meetings there.

The meetings include the 11th ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) plus Three (China, Japan and the Republic of Korea(ROK)) summit, the 11th China-ASEAN summit, and the third east Asian regional summit.

Wen made a five-point proposal on strengthening and deepening cooperation among the 10 ASEAN states and China, Japan and the ROK upon the Summit.

The Chinese Premier also attended the eighth annual meeting of leaders of China, Japan and the ROK during his stay in Singapore.

Wen's visit to Singapore as a guest of his Singaporean counterpart Lee Hsien Loong was the first visit by a Chinese premier in eight years.
