Taiwan's TSMC November sales down 4.1 percent

TAIPEI, Dec 10, 2007 (AFP) - Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co posted Monday consolidated sales of 31.27 billion Taiwan dollars (968 million US) in November, 4.1 percent down from 32.61 billion dollars in October.

Consolidated sales in the first 11 months of the year fell 0.6 percent year-on-year to 292.64 billion dollars, it said.

At a conference for institutional investors on October 25, TSMC said it expects its consolidated sales in the December quarter to rise to 92-94 billion dollars from 88.96 billion dollars achieved in the preceding three months.
