Deadly collision kills five, injures two in north China

HOHHOT, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) -- A collision between a police truck and motorized tricycle killed five people and injured two others on the weekend in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, police said on Monday.
The accident occurred at about 3 p.m. on Sunday on a highway near the village of Dawujia when a police wagon crashed into a motorized tricycle used for farming, killing three at the scene.
Two others died at a nearby hospital and two were severely injured, according to sources with the Chifeng City police.
The cause of the accident was under investigation.
