Senior Chinese political adviser meets Antigua Labor Party delegation

BEIJING, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) -- Luo Haocai, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), China's top political advisory body, on Monday met a delegation of the Antigua Labor Party.

The Antigua Labor Party had been the ruling party of the Caribbean country of Antigua and Barbuda from 1976 to 2004 in a row. The country established diplomatic ties with China in 1983.

Luo briefed the guests on the domestic conditions of China. Mary-Clare Hurst, the general secretary of the Antigua Labor Party, stressed that her party would adhere to the one-China policy.

The delegation is visiting China from Dec. 10 to 17.
