BEIJING, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- A Communist Party of China (CPC) senior official called for strengthening exchanges and cooperation with People's Party for Reconstruction and Democracy (PPRD) of the Democratic Republic of Congo here on Monday.
Zhou Yongkang, a Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee member, praised the Democratic Republic of Congo for sticking to the one-China principal. He said bilateral relations had made steady progress over the past 30 years.
