KATHMANDU, March 4 (Xinhua) -- A nine-member delegation led by Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister He Yafei returned home on Tuesday after a three-day visit to Nepal.
During their stay here, the Chinese delegates held meetings with various leaders and sectors including Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala and discussed some issues including Nepal's peace process and development.
At the meeting, He Yafei reiterated China's wish for lasting peace and prosperity in Nepal and success of the Constituent Assembly polls.
The delegation arrived on Sunday for the seventh meeting of the counseling mechanism set up under the foreign ministries of the two countries.
