No carrying or use of destructive weapons by security personnel in Lhasa riot

BEIJING, March 17 (Xinhua) -- The security personnel didn't carry or use any destructive weapons in dealing with the violent riot in Lhasa last Friday, said Qiangba Puncog, chairman of Tibet Autonomous Regional Government, at a news briefing in Beijing on Monday.
"The security personnel showed restraint in the entire process of handling the incident," said the regional government chief.
