Eleven people dead in SW China road accident

KUNMING, March 23 (Xinhua) -- An agricultural vehicle turned over in the southwestern Province of Yunnan on Sunday afternoon, killing 11 people and injuring many others, said local police.
The accident happened around 2:00 p.m. in Sanchahe Town, about 70 km from the seat of Fengqing County, Lincang City, according to information from the general office of the city government.
The passengers were mostly local villagers and students back to school from weekend.
Some of the injured have been sent to hospitals in the county. Casualties are yet to report, police said.
Rescue operation and investigation are underway.
