Ukraine reiterates one-China policy

KIEV, March 25 (Xinhua) -- Ukraine consistently pursues the one-China policy and this position won't be changed in the future, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Vasyl Kyrylych said Tuesday.

"In connection with the so-called elections of the Taiwanese president and a referendum on Taiwan's UN membership held on March22, we stress that Ukraine always supports the People's Republic of China on Taiwan issue," Kyrylych told a regular press conference in Kiev.

He said Ukraine is following closely the situation in China's Taiwan, stressing Kiev's recognition of China's territorial integrity.
