Chilean President concludes China visit

SHANGHAI, April 15 (Xinhua) -- Chilean President Michelle Bachelet Jeria left here Tuesday evening, concluding her five-day state visit to China.

During her stay in Shanghai, Bachelet met with city mayor Han Zheng and witnessed the signing of an agreement on Chile's participation in the Shanghai 2010 World Expo. Chile became the first Latin American country to sign an agreement with the event's organizers for participation.

As a guest of Chinese President Hu Jintao, Bachelet has attended this year's annual meeting of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) in southern China city of Sanya, and met with her Chinese counterpart.

While in Beijing, Bachelet also met with Chinese top legislator Wu Bangguo and premier Wen Jiabao, and attended a China-Chile Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum.
