China, Egypt agree to step up judicial cooperation

BEIJING, April 24 (Xinhua) -- Wang Shengjun, president of the Supreme People's Court of China, held talks with his Egyptian counterpart Mokbel Shaker here on Thursday, agreeing to further promote the cooperation between the courts of the two countries.

The two also exchanged views on other issues of common concern, according to the Supreme People's Court.

Shaker, Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council of Egypt, headed a delegation to visit China at the invitation of the Supreme People's Court of China.
