KUALA LUMPUR, May 20 (Xinhua) -- A Malaysian human resources company signed a deal here on Tuesday with its partner from China to form a joint venture in China to help university and college graduates with pre-employment trainings.
Jobmarket Malaysia Sdn Bhd Chairman Abu Bakar signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with its partner represented by Zhao Fengwu, president of China Market Credit Management Association, to set up the firm called Jobmarket China.
Zhao said that the venture created together with Jobmarket Malaysia will enable its Chinese partner to share its experiences to help place Chinese university and college students, who failed to find jobs or are going to graduate.
Jobmarket Malaysia said that under the MOU, Malaysian students could be sent to China for internship placement and Chinese students also could come to Malaysia for pre-employment trainings.
Jobmarket Malaysia is a Malaysian company established some two years ago to promote the placement of Malaysian university and college students in internship programs with local industries.
It was the first time that the subsidiary of Malaysia's Basis Holdings Sdn Bhd to extend its operations overseas.
The firm said that the first batch of Malaysian students are expected to be placed in internship practices in China within this year.
