65 key national cultural relics in Sichuan damaged by the quake

BEIJING, May 22–By May 19, 65 of Sichuan Province's 128 key national heritage conservation centers were damaged to different degrees by the quake, and it has 119 provincial-level heritage conservation centers damaged as well, according to Nanfang Daily.
"This is the greatest disaster to heritage since the founding of the People's Republic," said the deputy director of Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Cultural Affairs.
