No foreigners dead in Sichuan quake

BEIJING, May 25 -- No foreigners have been reported dead in the Sichuan quake, local authorities said Saturday, according to People's Daily Online.
The Sichuan Provincial Foreign Affairs Office said that as of 10 a.m. Friday, some 454 foreigners from 21 countries as well as compatriots from Hong Kong and Macao were rescued and transferred to safe places in the quake zone or adjacent areas. Two German citizens were injured when they were rescued, it said.
