Scenic spots in Dujiangyan severely damaged

BEIJING, May 26 -- Wenchuan earthquake proved a catastrophe to ancient buildings in Dujiangyan City of Sichuan Province. After the earthquake, landslides attacked the temple areas. All the walls of Qinyan Pavillion sinked. Xilou Pavillion, Xiangfang Building, 52-step Staircase, Zhaobi Wall, Three Palaces and Guanlan kiosks all collapsed, according to Chengdu Daily.
It takes two-three years to repair the above damage.
