Cargo ship capsizes off E. China coast killing 5, leaving 5 missing

SHANGHAI, June 28 (Xinhua) -- A Chinese cargo ship capsized off the country's east coast on Saturday morning, killing five and leaving five others missing, the local authority said.

The ship "Haoping," with 14 sailors and 4,000 tons of refined iron ore on board, overturned at 3:27 a.m. in the southern Yellow Sea.

Ships and a helicopter were sent to the area where rescuers saved four and found five bodies of crew members. The search for others continued.
