Hong Kong issues special panda stamps for relief in quake-hit Sichuan

HONG KONG, July 1 (Xinhua) -- Hongkong Post issued a set of special stamps of the giant pandas here Tuesday to raise fund for relief efforts in rebuilding the giant panda base in earthquake-devastated southwest China's Sichuan Province.
A total of 1,375,000 HK dollars (about 176, 282 U.S. dollars) was raised Tuesday at a sale of limited edition prestige stamp products with a giant panda paw print.
