Five killed in E. China traffic accident

FUZHOU, July 9 (Xinhua) -- At least five people are dead following a traffic accident in east China's Fujian Province, the local government said Wednesday.
A mini-bus carrying eight people plunged into a 60-meter deep river after it was hit in the rear by a shuttle bus at about 8:20 a.m. on Tuesday on a trunk road in Jiangle County, according to the county government.
The accident left five dead and one missing. Two injured passengers taken to hospital were in stable condition.
Rescuers were searching for the missing.
Investigators from the local work safety watchdog and traffic police authority were trying to determine the cause of the crash.
