Vice premier: China's dispatched institutions overseas should further promote bilateral economies

BEIJING, July 18 (Xinhua) -- China's business and commercial dispatched institutions overseas should play an active role in promoting economic and trade cooperation between China and the residing countries, said Vice Premier Wang Qishan on Friday.

He made the remarks when meeting with the country's counselors of these dispatched institutions, saying the institutions and agencies should take opportunity of economic globalization to deal with various challenges and new problems.

These business and commercial counselors were from China's dispatched institutions in Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Tanzania, Brazil, the United States and the European Union.

Wang praised the achievements the dispatched institutions made these years, and ordered them to further boost bilateral trade and investments, as well as firmly safeguard the country's diplomatic interests of economic diplomacy.

In addition, China's dispatched institutions should make a comprehensive and thorough research on the residing country's politics, culture, economy and society in a bid to do a better job in future.
