BANGKOK, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- The first Chinese charter plane organized by Chinese government landed Saturday afternoon at U-tapao airport, 150 km from Bangkok to bring back home Chinese citizens who had been stranded in Bangkok because of anti-government protesters' sieges of the two Bangkok airports.

The first plane from China Eastern Airlines is expected to takeoff from the small military airport in the evening back to Shanghai.

The first batch of some 1,400 stranded Chinese will board five Chinese planes expected to take off on Saturday.
