LONDON, March 31, 2009 - Britain's Prince Charles will meet Chinese President Hu Jintao after the G20 summit in London, a royal official said Tuesday.
The meeting, which will take place Thursday at Hu's hotel in the British capital, comes despite rocky relations in the past between the heir to the British throne and China.
A spokesman for Charles's Clarence House residence said: "The Prince is trying to engage with China through his charities. He will discuss a wide range of issues."
