Downtown commercial street catches fire in S China city

NANNING, April 25 (Xinhua) -- A fire broke out Saturday afternoon engulfed a dozen stores in a commercial street in downtown Nanning, capital of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, rescuers said.

Fire-fighters have basically controlled the fire, which broke out at about 5:00 p.m..

Firemen said no human casualty was seen by far.
