Chinese FM arrives in Hanoi for Asia-Europe FM Meeting

HANOI, May 24 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi arrived in Hanoi on Sunday evening for the 9th Asia-Europe Meeting(ASEM) Foreign Ministers' Meeting.

The meeting, slated for May 25 to 26, is expected to draw foreign ministers and delegations from 45 ASEM members.

During the two-day meeting, participants will discuss measures on forging closer Asia-Europe partnership to address the international economic and financial crisis as well as other global challenges.
