Russian PM wraps up China visit

BEIJING, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin concluded a three-day visit to China and left for Russia on Wednesday evening.

During the visit, Chinese President Hu Jintao, Chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress Wu Bangguo met with him. Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao held talks with him.

During his stay in China, Putin, along with Wen, attended the 14th Chinese-Russian prime ministers' regular meeting on Tuesday. He also attended the eighth prime ministers' meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states on Wednesday.

This trip was Putin's first official visit to China since taking office as Russia's Prime Minister in May 2008.
