19 injured in knife attack at south China primary school

GUANGZHOU, April 28 (Xinhua) -- A man attacked 18 pupils and one teacher with a knife at a primary school in south China's Guangdong Province Wednesday afternoon, police said.

The man in his forties barged into Leicheng First Primary School in Leizhou City at around 3 p.m. and committed the attacks, before he was seized by police.

All the injured have been rushed to local hospitals. It is unknown at the moment how badly they were injured or whether someone has died or not.
