4.8-magnitude earthquake hits Tibet

BEIJING, July 27 (Xinhua) -- A 4.8-magnitude earthquake hit Tibet at 6:14 p.m. Tuesday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.

The epicenter was located at 30.4 north latitude and 94.8 east longitude, with a depth of 9 km, it said.

No casualties has been reported.
