Russia's defense minister visits China

Russia's Defense Minister Anatoli Serdyukov left for China on Monday to participate in the 15th meeting of the inter-government commission on military-technical cooperation.

The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday. The parties will sign a protocol which defines the future direction of the Russia-China military cooperation.

Serdyukov is also due to meet with Chinese Defense Minister Liang Guanglie to discuss military cooperation of the two countries.
