Chinese vice premier, IMF head discuss world economy

BEIJING, April 13 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice Premier Wang Qishan and International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Christine Lagarde discussed the world economic situation in a phone conversation Friday.

Lagarde briefed Wang on the upcoming spring meetings of the IMF and the World Bank as well as a meeting of finance ministers and central bankers from the Group of 20 nations.
