BEIJING, May 25 (Xinhua) -- China filed a case at the World Trade Organization (WTO) on Friday to challenge U.S. anti-subsidy investigations over 22 categories of Chinese products worth 7.29 billion U.S. dollars, the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) said.
China has requested WTO consultations, the first stage of a formal dispute settlement, with the United States, the MOC said in a statement.
If consultations fail to produce a solution, China may request the case be ruled by a WTO panel.
