China, Indonesia hold joint anti-terrorism exercise

Following an agreement between the two sides, Chinese and Indonesian special military forces began a joint anti-terrorism exercise with the code-name "Sharp Knife 2012", starting from July 1st to July 16th in Jinan, capital city of Shandong province.

This is the second exercises of the kind between two countries. It is aimed at sharpening the capability and skills of Indonesian army and People's Liberation Army's (PLA) personnel in special operations.
